Buenas prácticas financieras internacionales para la materialización y sostenibilidad del proyecto móvil marino-aeroespacial: caso de Costa Rican Experimentation and Advance Training Underwater Station (CREATUS)

Abstract

El presente trabajo de grado es una investigación que trata sobre el estudio de la materialización y sostenibilidad del proyecto CREATUS: Se tuvo como objetivo analizar las buenas prácticas financieras internacionales para la materialización y sostenibilidad del proyecto móvil marino-aeroespacial, en el caso específico de: El caso de Costa Rican Experimentation and Advance Training Underwater Station (CREATUS). El proyecto fue motivado por la necesidad de una gestión financiera eficaz en dicha institución, que garantizaría la disponibilidad de los fondos necesarios para su funcionamiento y mantenimiento. El estudio estuvo guiado por la siguiente pregunta de investigación: ¿Cuáles son las buenas prácticas financieras internacionales para la materialización y sostenibilidad del proyecto móvil marino-aeroespacial: ¿Caso de Costa Rican Experimentation and Advanced Training Underwater Station (CREATUS)? Para responder a esta pregunta, la metodología de investigación incluyó una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura relevante, estudios de casos de estaciones submarinas y entrevistas con expertos financieros y partes interesadas de la industria espacial, marina y ambiental. El estudio encontró que las buenas prácticas financieras, incluida la elaboración de presupuestos consolidados, la gestión de riesgos financieros, la elaboración de informes eficaces y la participación de las partes interesadas, pueden ayudar a garantizar la sostenibilidad financiera de CREATUS y permitirle cumplir su misión. La implementación de buenas prácticas financieras puede mitigar estos riesgos y mejorar el desempeño financiero de la estación. Finalmente, el proyecto crea un plan estratégico para las buenas prácticas financieras internacionales que pueden adaptarse e implementarse en proyectos polifacéticos como lo es CREATUS. Los beneficios potenciales de las buenas prácticas financieras incluyen la sostenibilidad financiera, una mejor participación de las partes interesadas y una mayor cooperación internacional. Al aplicar estas prácticas, las estaciones submarinas pueden servir mejor a sus misiones y contribuir al avance de la ciencia y la exploración.The present degree work is a research that deals with the study of the materialization and sustainability of the CREATUS project: The objective was to analyze the best international financial practices for the materialization and sustainability of the mobile marine-aerospace project, in the specific case of the Costa Rican Experimentation and Advance Training Underwater Station (CREATUS): The case of Costa Rican Experimentation and Advance Training Underwater Station (CREATUS). The project was motivated by the need for an efficient financial management in that institution, which would guarantee the availability of the necessary funds for its operation and maintenance. The study was guided by the following research question: What are the best international financial practices for the materialization and sustainability of the mobile marine-aerospace project: Case of Costa Rican Experimentation and Advanced Training Underwater Station (CREATUS)? To answer this question, the research methodology included a comprehensive review of relevant literature, case studies of underwater stations, and interviews with financial experts and stakeholders from the space, marine and environmental industries. The study found that good financial practices, including consolidated budgeting, financial risk management, effective reporting, and stakeholder engagement, can help ensure the financial sustainability of CREATUS and enable it to fulfill its mission. Implementing good financial practices can mitigate these risks and improve the station's financial performance. Finally, the project creates a strategic plan for international financial best practices that can be adapted and implemented in multifaceted projects such as CREATUS. Potential benefits of good financial practices include financial sustainability, improved stakeholder involvement, and increased international cooperation. By applying these practices, undersea stations can better serve their missions and contribute to the advancement of science and exploration.
