Resumen
El propósito de la investigación es analizar el rol del administrador educativo en la implementación de las adecuaciones curriculares de la Ley 7600 en los centros C.T.P. Umberto Melloni Campanini, Escuela Líder Coopa Buena y Escuela Ciudadela González ubicados en los circuitos 09, 11 y 13 de la Dirección Regional de Coto, durante el año 2002. La investigación examina la importancia de integrar los aspectos esenciales para desarrollar adecuaciones curriculares en la planificación anual institucional y determinar la aplicación de las estrategias utilizadas en los estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales por parte de los administradores educativos de los centros investigados. Para la realización de este estudio se consultó: un asesor regional, tres asesores supervisores, 3 directores y 18 profesores, a los cuales se les aplicó cuestionarios y entrevistas para la recopilación de datos. La investigación concluye que los administradores educativos cumplen con las instrucciones emanadas por el MEP, y se realizan las capacitaciones y asesoramientos de adecuaciones curriculares en centros educativos y circuitos, además son conscientes de su responsabilidad en cuanto al rol que debe desempeñar dentro de la institución.
The purpose of the research is to analyze the role of the educational administrator in the implementation of the curricular adaptations of Law 7600 in the centers C.T.P. Umberto Melloni Campanini, Líder Coopa Buena School and Ciudadela González School located in circuits 09, 11 and 13 of the Regional Directorate of Coto, during the year 2002. The research examines the importance of integrating the essential aspects to develop curricular adaptations in the institutional annual planning and to determine the application of the strategies used in the students with special educational needs by the educational administrators of the investigated centers. In order to carry out this study, the following were consulted: a regional advisor, three supervising advisors, three directors and 18 teachers, to whom questionnaires and interviews were applied for data collection. The research concludes that educational administrators comply with the instructions issued by the MEP, and that training and advice on curricular adaptations are provided in schools and circuits, and that they are aware of their responsibility in terms of the role they must play within the institution.
