Resumen
Investiga el desempeño del director ante los procedimientos que utilizan los docentes para sustentar la evaluación educativa al emitir un juicio de valor sobre los resultados del aprendizaje en las instituciones educativas de I y II Ciclo del Circuito 11, Región Educativa Coto, durante el curso lectivo 2003. Por medio del análisis de las técnicas que utiliza el director para sustentar la evaluación educativa en el ámbito institucional, la actitud positiva del director ante la aplicación de la evaluación diagnóstica y sumativa, además de la incidencia de la eficiencia administrativa del director, en la toma de decisiones que favorezcan los procedimientos utilizados por los docentes en la elaboración y aplicación de pruebas escritas en instituciones de I y II ciclo. La investigación es de carácter descriptivo ya que permite conocer, analizar y determinar el desempeño del director ante los procedimientos que utilizan los docentes para sustentar la evaluación educativa. Establece como sujetos de investigación 18 docentes y 8 directores del Circuito XI de Agua Buena, a los que se les aplico el cuestionario para la recolección de los datos. Los resultados más relevantes determinan que los directores no están cumpliendo a cabalidad con las técnicas, mecanismos de control y evaluación para sustentar la evaluación educativa en el ámbito institucional.
This study investigates the performance of the principal in relation to the procedures used by teachers to support the educational evaluation when issuing a value judgment on the learning results in the educational institutions of I and II Cycle of Circuit 11, Coto Educational Region, during the 2003 school year. Through the analysis of the techniques used by the director to support the educational evaluation in the institutional environment, the positive attitude of the director before the application of the diagnostic and summative evaluation, besides the incidence of the administrative efficiency of the director, in the decision making that favors the procedures used by the teachers in the elaboration and application of written tests in institutions of I and II cycle. The research is descriptive in nature since it allows to know, analyze and determine the performance of the principal in the procedures used by teachers to support the educational evaluation. It establishes as research subjects 18 teachers and 8 principals of the XI Circuit of Agua Buena, to whom the questionnaire was applied for data collection. The most relevant results determine that principals are not fully complying with the techniques, control and evaluation mechanisms to support educational evaluation at the institutional level.
