Resumen
FUNDECOR define el modelo matemático que proporciona en forma estimada la cantidad de madera que puede producir un bosque que se encuentra dividido en parcelas. El modelo matemático utilizado proporcionaba resultados poco satisfactorios, se manejaba un margen de error aproximadamente del veinte por ciento hace seis años.
La investigación tiene como propósito general analizar el modelo matemático utilizado en el programa de Compra de Madera por Adelantado, realizar si fuese necesario modificaciones que garanticen un resultado óptimo. Es decir, que la predicción de la cantidad de madera se aproxime a la realidad.
La revisión teórica permite reseñar una muestra de los contenidos en el ámbito conceptual y procedimental sobre métodos cuantitativos y su aplicación al área forestal. Se hará la utilización de tres componentes fundamentales, el uso de la tecnología (software Crystal Ball@), teorías de pronósticos y simulación, y el conocimiento de las personas que trabajan en el programa.
Como es de suponer en este tipo de modelos, existen infinidad de variables que pueden afectarlo, sin embargo el método de pronósticos permite utilizar todas estas variantes y ponerlas a trabajar en función de una predicción y saber cuánta madera se obtendrá.
FUNDECOR defines the mathematical model that provides an estimate of the amount of wood that can be produced by a forest that is divided into plots. The mathematical model used provided unsatisfactory results, a margin of error of approximately twenty percent was handled six years ago. The general purpose of the research is to analyze the mathematical model used in the Advance Wood Purchase program, making modifications if necessary to guarantee an optimal result. That is, that the prediction of the amount of wood is close to reality. The theoretical review allows reviewing a sample of the contents in the conceptual and procedural field on quantitative methods and their application to the forest area. Three fundamental components will be used: the use of technology (Crystal Ball@ software), forecasting and simulation theories, and the knowledge of the people who work in the program. As is to be expected in this type of model, there are an infinite number of variables that can affect it, however, the forecasting method makes it possible to use all these variants and put them to work based on a prediction and to know how much wood will be obtained.
