Sistema de consultas histórico-biográficas por medio de Internet, Costa Rica Virtual: historia y sociedad

Abstract

La Escuela de Historia junto con la Escuela de Bibliotecología de la Universidad Nacional, planteó un proyecto denominado "Costa Rica Virtual: Historia y Sociedad" por medio del cual se quiere recopilar información sobre personajes históricos involucrados en la vida social y cultural del país para publicarla a nivel nacional e internacional, de manera que pueda ser consultada por diferentes tipos de usuarios tales como, estudiantes de primaria y secundaria, padres de familia, profesores, investigadores, otros profesionales y la comunidad en general. Hasta la fecha no se cuenta con una fuente de información que presente un conjunto de biografías que esté a disposición de los interesados, los cuales la requieren en un formato agradable y que proporcione el fácil acceso permitiendo su consulta desde cualquier lugar del mundo y en cualquier momento, Actualmente la información se encuentra dispersa lo cual hace difícil su consulta, acceso y localización.

The School of History together with the School of Librarianship of the National University, proposed a project called "Virtual Costa Rica: History and Society" by means of which they want to collect information on historical figures involved in the social and cultural life of the country to publish it nationally and internationally, so that it can be consulted by different types of users such as primary and secondary students, parents, teachers, researchers, other professionals and the community in general. To date, there is no source of information that presents a set of biographies that is available to interested parties, who require it in a pleasant format and that provides easy access, allowing it to be consulted from anywhere in the world and anywhere. Currently, the information is scattered which makes it difficult to consult, access and locate.
