Resumen
Este trabajo exploratorio se orienta en identificar los factores motivadores de la población femenina estudiantil en la elección de la carrera de Informática en la Universidad Nacional. Las principales motivaciones de las mujeres participantes del estudio se orientan al apoyo familiar, las oportunidades
en el mercado laboral al promover una posición económica y mayor oportunidad de empleo. Otro factor es el reto académico que conlleva la carrera y el reconocimiento al graduarse.
Abstract. This exploratory work is oriented to identify the motivating factors of the female student population in the Informatics career choice at the National University. The women participants' main motivations in the study are oriented to family support and opportunities in the labor market by promoting an economic position and greater employment opportunities. Another factor is the academic challenge of the career and the recognition upon graduation.
