Resumen
Realiza un análisis de la pedagogía crítica latinoamericana, especialmente la intercultural y sus aportes a la Educación Religiosa, como un marco filosófico que responde a las realidades de una sociedad multicultural y plurirreligiosa.
Plantea los principales desafíos actuales de la Educación Religiosa, los modelos de esta, los cuales prevalecen en el marco actual; además, el rol de la Educación Religiosa en ese contexto.
La investigación es tipo cualitativa, el estudio bibliográfico o documental, para realizar una lectura analítica de textos de tres autores (Raúl Fornet-Betancourt, Vera Ferrão Candau y Ricardo Salas).
Incluye una revisión del modelo actual de la Educación Religiosa a la luz de la interculturalidad.
En conclusión, el modelo de Educación Religiosa que prevalece en Costa Rica es el confesional y aunque las políticas educativas han ido cambiando y con ellas su desarrollo, se mantiene el carácter doctrinal y confesional de los procesos educativos en esta disciplina, incluso en la etapa de educación diversificada, para la cual el DER (Departamento de Educación Religiosa) indica que se debe implementar una educación religiosa ecuménica o ecléctica.
It makes an analysis of Latin American critical pedagogy, especially intercultural pedagogy and its contributions to Religious Education, as a philosophical framework that responds to the realities of a multicultural and multi-religious society. It raises the main current challenges of Religious Education, the models of this, which prevail in the current framework; in addition, the role of Religious Education in this context. The research is qualitative type, the bibliographic or documentary study, to make an analytical reading of texts of three authors (Raul Fornet-Betancourt, Vera Ferrão Candau and Ricardo Salas). It includes a review of the current model of Religious Education in the light of interculturality. In conclusion, the model of Religious Education that prevails in Costa Rica is confessional and although the educational policies have been changing and with them its development, the doctrinal and confessional character of the educational processes in this discipline is maintained, even in the stage of diversified education, for which the DER (Department of Religious Education) indicates that an ecumenical or eclectic religious education should be implemented.
