Emprender o morir: Análisis de la influencia del capital económico, social y cultural en la conformación de los agentes emprendedores en Costa Rica (2014-2018)

Abstract

La problemática investigada se centró en el análisis de los emprendimientos por necesidad y por oportunidad. Señalando que el éxito radica en los capitales que los agentes poseen a la hora de emprender, haciendo de relevancia el estudio de las características de los agentes. El presente documento expone el planteamiento del problema, la justificación académica, una revisión bibliográfica sobre el tratamiento del emprendimiento como objeto de estudio, el marco teórico y metodológico propuesto, la discusión y conclusiones extraídas de los resultados finales. En el primero de ellos se exponen los motivos académicos que argumentan la necesidad y el interés de llevar a cabo la investigación. En el segundo apartado se realiza un recorrido socio-histórico que muestra el desarrollo de la temática sobre el emprendimiento. En este apartado se siguen dos vías una mundial que explica el contexto en el que se genera el emprendimiento como una solución económica para combatir el desempleo. En una segunda vía se explica el desarrollo de este fenómeno en Costa Rica, para explicar esto se utilizan datos macroeconómicos y se exponen los principales programas que se han propuesto para impulsar el emprendimiento desde el gobierno. En el tercero se expone la pregunta a investigar, lo que se pretende abordar y por qué. Se da la exposición de un breve estado de la cuestión para ubicar la temática y el espacio dentro del que se inscribe el presente trabajo final de graduación. Seguido de esto se exponen el marco teórico y metodológico desde dónde se abordará la discusión.
