Resumen
Las dificultades en la lectura y escritura son habituales en los salones de clases, que sin duda
alguna han sido un problema para cada niño y niña. Por lo tanto, para reforzar estas habilidades
lectoras y de escritura se desarrolla el siguiente proyecto de investigación que lleva por título
“Fortalecimiento de la lectura y escritura, desde la habilidad de la conciencia fonológica,
dirigido a estudiantes de II y III año, de la Escuela Sagrada Familia, Limón, para el
mejoramiento de su proceso de formación, periodo lectivo 2022-2023”. Este trabajo tuvo como
objetivo fortalecer los procesos de lectura y escritura mediante el uso de la habilidad de la
conciencia fonológica. Esta investigación está bajo el enfoque cualitativo, el cual ayuda a
conocer la realidad que vive la población estudiantil. Este proceso educativo se estructura de
cinco capítulos. Además, se desarrolla en siete etapas. Por ende, se elabora veintiún talleres para
apoyar las habilidades de lectura y escritura. Se trabajó con 4 niños y 2 niñas, al final por
motivos personales la niña de segundo año es trasladada de institución, por tanto, su proceso
quedó inconcluso, debido a esto, se trabajó solamente con personas estudiantes de tercero año.
Entre los principales hallazgos encontrados en este proceso educativo son, que las personas
estudiantes no tienen un nivel de aprendizaje acorde a su edad cronológica, por lo tanto, ha
afectado en el rezago de la lectoescritura. Por consiguiente, la culminación de esta propuesta ha
sido favorable para los participantes, por lo que, cada taller, actividad e instrumento aplicado
ha significado un impulso en el aprendizaje de la lectura y escritura, teniendo en cuenta, sus
necesidades y la esperanza por seguir aprendiendo en sus vidas.

Reading and writing have some difficulties in classrooms which have been a problem to every boy and girl. Therefore, to strengthen these reading and writing skills, the following research project is developed and titled "Improvement of Reading and Writing through Phonological Awareness Skills" aimed at students from the second and third years at the Sagrada Familia School in Limon. For the improvement of their educational process during the 2022-2023 academic year. The main objective of this work was to strengthen the reading and writing process using phonological awareness skills. This research was conducted under a qualitative approach that helps understand the reality that the student population has gotten.This education process was divided into five chapters. Hence, this work is carried out in seven stages. In order to do this, twenty-one workshops were developed to support reading and writing skills. We worked with 4 boys and 2 girls. In the end, a girl in her second year enrolled in another institute due to personal reasons, so her process was incomplete. Therefore, we only worked with students from third grade. Among the main findings in this educational process, it is clear that students do not have a consistent learning level with their chronological age, which has affected reading and writing. Consequently, the culmination of this proposal has been favorable for the participants. Each workshop, activity, and tool have improved the learning of reading and writing, considering the needs and the hope to continue learning in their lives.
