Resumen
Esta investigación trata de la cooperación internacional que tiene la Red Latinoamericana y del Caribe para la Democracia con la sociedad civil, es una institución internacional sin fines de lucro, que actualmente asocia a doscientos cuarenta y siete organizaciones, redes y activistas de la sociedad civil y el Caribe, las cuales trabajan para el fortalecimiento de la democracia, la defensa de los derechos y la promoción del desarrollo sostenible en sus países. Tiene como misión proveer apoyo y solidaridad a individuos y grupos en situaciones donde la democracia está en peligro, crear conciencia y divulgar los valores, principios y prácticas democráticas e incidir para que las leyes y políticas públicas se adapten a los principios democráticos.
This research deals with the international cooperation that the Latin American and Caribbean Network for Democracy has with civil society, an international non-profit institution, which currently associates two hundred and forty-seven organizations, networks and activists of civil society and the Caribbean, which work for the strengthening of democracy, the defense of rights and the promotion of sustainable development in their countries. Its mission is to provide support and solidarity to individuals and groups in situations where democracy is endangered, to raise awareness and disseminate democratic values, principles and practices, and to advocate for laws and public policies to be adapted to democratic principles.
