Género, literatura e identidad: una perspectiva práctica del humanismo

Resumen
En este texto se expone la metodología utilizada en el curso Género, literatura e identidad, del Centro de Estudios Generales, dirigido hacia la concienciación de los temas de género en la comunidad estudiantil universitaria; entendido género como una rama del feminismo, teoría que busca erradicar la segregación social de las minorías, tanto hombres como mujeres, y su importancia histórica en pro de la defensa de los derechos humanos. Con base en ello, se incentiva el diseño de un proyecto interactivo grupal, el cual es trabajado de forma periódica y supervisada entre personal integrante del equipo y la académica facilitadora del curso. Una vez realizado dicho proyecto, se exponen los resultados y experiencias, en su mayoría satisfactorios y de gran importancia para el crecimiento personal y profesional de sus participantes. Entre los múltiples trabajos presentados se destacan exposiciones fotográficas, vídeos explicativos sobre lenguaje sexista, una performance teatral y actividades de literatura escrita por mujeres para enseñanza primaria y secundaria.
In this paper the methodology used in the course Gender, literature and identity, by Centre for General Studies, headed awareness of gender issues in the university student body is exposed; gender understood as a branch of feminism theory that seeks to eradicate the social segregation of minorities, both men and women, and its historical importance for the defense of human rights. Based on this, the design of an interactive project group, which is periodically worked and supervised way between staff team member and facilitator academic course are encouraged. Once the project completed, the results and experiences are presented, most successful and important for personal and professional growth of its par ticipants. Among the many highlights works presented photographic exhibitions, videos about sexist language, a theatrical performance and activities of literature written by women for primary and secondary education.
