Resumen
La problemática del crimen organizado impacta diariamente a todas las naciones y sociedades, trayendo consigo consecuencias sociales, políticas y económicas. Ante esta situación nos preguntamos ¿Qué ha hecho la comunidad internacional para frenar esta amenaza?
Este documento tiene como objetivo analizar la influencia de las normas internacionales y cooperación sobre el crimen organizado y el contexto socioeconómico en la frontera Costa Rica-Nicaragua, esto como medio para identificar y promover nuevas estrategias de lucha las nuevas amenazas emergentes.
El estudio comprende los años 2010 – 2015, donde se lograron analizar acontecimientos de relevancia en materia de CTO, así como las políticas implementadas, normas de seguridad, tratados de cooperación y de igual forma todas las falencias que se presentan a nivel institucional, sistemático, regional y local. Se toma en cuenta la situación que acontece en el medio tanto nacional como desde la óptica nicaragüense. Obteniendo como resultado un análisis del estado de la situación y una serie de recomendaciones, a nivel político, social y en materia de cooperación que podrían fortalecer las estrategias de lucha y prevención contra estas amenazas.
Este seminario se realizó bajo el mecanismo de discusión de ideas y análisis de bibliografías de relevancia. Además se encuentra dividió capítulos que buscan responder al tema desarrollado.
The problem of organized crime has a daily impact on all nations and societies, bringing with it social, political and economic consequences. Given this situation, we ask ourselves: What has the international community done to stop this threat? This document aims to analyze the influence of international norms and cooperation about organized crime and the socio-economic context on the Costa Rica-Nicaragua border, as a method to identify and promote new strategies to fight emerging new threats. The study covers the lapse of 2010 - 2015, where it was possible to analyze relevant events in terms of CTO, as well as the policies implemented, safety standards, cooperation treaties and also all failures that are presented at institutional, regional and local levels. It takes into account the situation that occurs in the national scene as well as from the perspective of the Nicaraguan standpoint. As a result, an analysis of the state of the situation and a series of recommendations, at the political, social and cooperative levels, could strengthen strategies to fight and prevent these threats. This seminar was conducted under the mechanism of discussion of ideas and analysis of relevant bibliographies. In addition it is divided chapters that seek to answer the developed subject.
