Resumen
La evaluación de pares ciegos dio lugar a la aceptación de los trabajos que presentamos en esta Memoria. En «Cooperative Learning Activities for Lowering Speaking Anxiety in Adult EFL Learners», Celia María López-Dávila y Bolívar Andrey López-Pereira investigan la efectividad de las actividades de aprendizaje cooperativo en la reducción de la ansiedad de estudiantes de inglés como lengua extranjera y presentan sus principales resultados. La ponencia «Creación de curso remedial virtual de redacción efectiva para profesionales» ofrece una propuesta de solución a problemas frecuentes con que se encuentran los profesionales cuando desarrollan tareas de redacción. Esto lleva a su autora, Karla Ramos-Rivas, a proponer un curso para el desarrollo de la redacción y la escritura.
The blind peer review process resulted in the acceptance of the papers presented in this report. In “Cooperative Learning Activities for Lowering Speaking Anxiety in Adult EFL Learners,” Celia María López-Dávila and Bolívar Andrey López-Pereira investigate the effectiveness of cooperative learning activities in reducing anxiety among students of English as a foreign language and present their main findings. The paper “Creation of a virtual remedial course on effective writing for professionals” offers a proposed solution to common problems encountered by professionals when performing writing tasks. This leads the author, Karla Ramos-Rivas, to propose a course for the development of writing and composition skills.
