Resumen
Analiza el estado de la ayuda para el comercio en el sector servicios de los países de Guatemala y Honduras durante el período 2007 al 2019, el enfoque de esta investigación es un enfoque mixto, predominantemente cuantitativo. Esta investigación realiza un diagnóstico de la ayuda para el comercio en el sector Servicios en los países de Guatemala y Honduras. Esta investiación se enmarca en el proyecto "Fortalecimiento de las capacidades teóricas y prácticas relacionadas con el Sistema Multilateral del Comercio" adscrito al Programa Comercio y Negocios Internacionales de la Escuela de Relaciones Internacionales. Para esta investigación se utiliza como medio de recolección de datos un índice de competitividad contruido a partir de subvariables e indicadores tomados del índice de competitividad mundial del foto Económico Mundial.La ayuda para el Comercio de la Organización Mundial del comercio se establece como una iniciativa para brindar asistencia a los países en desarrollo y en especial a los menos adelantados, mediante el fortalecimiento de políticas, infraestructura relacionada con el comercio y la creación de capacidad productiva. Busca que los países puedan contar con las herramientas y capacidades necesarias para impulsar su desarrollo. Se cuenta con un panorama general de la competitividad del sector servicio en la región y con una línea base sobre la Ayuda para Guatemala y Honduras, que vislumbra su estado para el período comprendido entre los años 2007-2019, donde durante dicho período de estudio se concluye la existencia de poca vinculación entre la competitividad del sector y la iniciativa del AFT en los países de interés.
Analyzes the state of aid for trade in the services sector of the countries of Guatemala and Honduras during the period 2007 to 2019, the focus of this research is a mixed approach, predominantly quantitative. This research makes a diagnosis of aid for trade in the services sector in the countries of Guatemala and Honduras. This research is part of the project "Strengthening theoretical and practical capacities related to the Multilateral Trade System" attached to the International Trade and Business Program of the School of International Relations. For this research, a competitiveness index constructed from subvariables and indicators taken from the world competitiveness index of the World Economic photo is used as a means of data collection. The aid for Trade of the World Trade Organization is established as an initiative to provide assistance to developing countries, and especially the least developed, by strengthening policies, trade-related infrastructure, and building productive capacity. It seeks that countries can have the necessary tools and capacities to promote their development. There is a general overview of the competitiveness of the service sector in the region and a baseline on Aid for Guatemala and Honduras, which glimpses its status for the period between 2007-2019, where during said period of study concludes the existence of little link between the competitiveness of the sector and the AFT initiative in the countries of interest.
