La Unidad de Bibliotecología, como aporte a la normalización de conceptos sobre la información en la UNA, lleva a cabo del 31 de mayo al 21 de junio de 1983 las jornadas para lanormalización de los conceptos de Ciencias de la Información y consolidación del sistema de información para la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras.
