Criterios y expectativas de los padres, madres de familia, docentes de preescolar y profesionales de diversas disciplinas al adelantar el ingreso de los niños en el nivel de preescolar mediante la Prueba de Aptitud Aplicada por M.E.P Circuito 13, Región educativa Coto, 2006.

Abstract

Esta investigación corresponde al informe de Seminario que tiene como propósito Investigar criterios y expectativas de los padres de familia, docentes de preescolar profesionales en diversas disciplinas al adelantar el ingreso de los niños y niñas en el nivel de preescolar mediante la prueba de aptitud aplicada por el MEP, Circuito 13, Región Educativa Coto, 2006. Los sujetos de estudio fueron 22 docentes de preescolar, 42 padres de familia, 10 profesionales en diversas disciplinas que laboran a nivel nacional en diferentes disciplinas, 22 niños que realizaron pruebas de aptitud, 5 funcionarios del M.E.P, se aplica en el Circuito 13 de la Región Educativa Coto, durante el año 2007. La información se recolectará mediante 8 instrumentos dirigidos hacia los sujetos de estudio a los cuales se les aplicó diferentes tipos de instrumentos entre los que resaltan: la entrevista, el cuestionario, escalas, necesarios para una investigación cualitativa. Se realizará un análisis a partir de la estadística descriptiva, además cuadros y gráficos. Después de efectuar el presente trabajo investigativo se concluye que en relación con la decisión tomada por la Sala Constitucional con respecto al recurso de amparo 2005-05513, los profesionales de diversas disciplinas y docentes de preescolar del circuito 13. No están de acuerdo con dicha resolución pues aducen factores relacionados con la madurez del menor, preparación, conocimientos, edad, entre otros. Contraponiéndose a la opinión y criterios de los padres de familia que éstos, por sus intereses y su deseo de querer adelantar el ingreso del menor al SEC, sí están de acuerdo con la Resolución tomada por la Sala Constitucional con respecto al Recurso de Amparo 2005- 05513. El cual modifica el Reglamento de Matrícula y Traslado en su inciso E y este en la edad de ingreso al SEC. Respecto a la prueba de aptitud aplicada por el Departamento de Preescolar en diciembre 2006, Circuito 13, Región Educativa de Coto. Como mejor opción para disconformidad presentada por los padres de familia en el recurso de amparo 2005-05513, padres de familia, docentes de preescolar y profesionales de diversas disciplinas comparten criterios en aspectos como diseño, evaluación, edad, madurez y desarrollo del niño deben ser reevaluados a la hora de confeccionar una P.A que mida la capacidad del párvulo, de esta manera determina si el niño está apto para ingresar al nivel elegido. Con respecto a si existe otra alternativa que no sea la P.A, para evaluar al menor, para que ingrese al Sistema Educativo Costarricense, sin contar con la edad establecida por el C.S.E. Los grupos en estudio concuerdan en que si existen otras opciones que no sea la prueba de aptitud, ellos proponen: a. Evaluación Integral b. Semana de Adaptación c. Revaloración y Diseño de la P.A son factibles para el MEP departamento de preescolar.

This research corresponds to the Seminar report with the purpose of investigating criteria and expectations of parents, preschool teachers, professionals in different disciplines when advancing the entrance of children in the preschool level through the aptitude test applied by the MEP, Circuit 13, Coto Educational Region, 2006. The subjects of the study were 22 preschool teachers, 42 parents, 10 professionals in different disciplines who work at the national level in different disciplines, 22 children who took aptitude tests, 5 officials of the MEP, applied in Circuit 13 of the Coto Educational Region, during 2007. The information will be collected by means of 8 instruments directed towards the subjects of study to which different types of instruments were applied among which stand out: the interview, the questionnaire, scales, necessary for a qualitative research. An analysis will be made based on descriptive statistics, as well as tables and graphs. After carrying out this research work, it is concluded that in relation to the decision taken by the Constitutional Chamber regarding the appeal for protection 2005-05513, professionals from different disciplines and preschool teachers from circuit 13 do not agree with this resolution because they adduce factors related to the child's maturity, preparation, knowledge, age, among others. Contrary to the opinion and criteria of the parents, who, due to their interests and their desire to advance the child's admission to the SEC, do agree with the Resolution taken by the Constitutional Chamber with respect to the Appeal for Constitutional Protection 2005- 05513. Which modifies the Enrollment and Transfer Regulation in its clause E and this in the age of admission to the SEC. Regarding the aptitude test applied by the Preschool Department in December 2006, Circuit 13, Coto Educational Region. As the best option for disagreement presented by the parents in the amparo appeal 2005-05513, parents, preschool teachers and professionals from different disciplines share criteria in aspects such as design, evaluation, age, maturity and development of the child must be reevaluated when making a P.A. that measures the capacity of the infant, thus determining if the child is apt to enter the chosen level. Regarding if there is another alternative other than the P.A, to evaluate the child, to enter the Costa Rican Educational System, without having the age established by the C.S.E. The groups in study agree that if there are other options other than the aptitude test, they propose: a. Comprehensive Evaluation b. Adaptation Week c. Re-evaluation and Design of the P.A. are feasible for the MEP preschool department.
