Premio Nacional a la Calidad: el caso del Programa Gusano Barrenador

Abstract

A finales del 2010 el Programa Gusano Barrenador-Vigilancia Epidemiológica participó en el concurso de Calidad Nacional y Prácticas Promisorias que desarrolló el Ministerio de Planificación Nacional y Política Económica, MIDEPLAN, de Costa Rica, conjuntamente con la Dirección General de Servicio Civil, DGSC, obteniendo la Categoría Bronce. Este premio, coincide con los 15 años que cumplió el Programa de laborar al servicio del sector pecuario del país, como parte del Servicio Nacional de Salud Animal, del Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería, MAG. En este documento se menciona la importancia que ha tenido el Programa y su impacto a nivel nacional e internacional en la salud pública y animal, así como la motivación y experiencia durante el roceso de participación y premiación lograda.

At the end of 2010, the Program Gusano Barrenador- Epidemiological Surveillance participated in the contest of National Quality and Promising Practices developed by the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Policy, MIDEPLAN, of Costa Rica, jointly with the General Direction of Civil Service, DGSC, obtaining the Category Bronze. This award coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Program to work in the service of the country's livestock sector, as part of the National Animal Health, from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, MAG. This document mentions the importance that the Program has had and its impact at national and international level in public and animal health, as well as the motivation and experience during the participation and awarding process achieved.
