Iniciativas de integración latinoamericana desde América Latina

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende resumir los resultados de la investigación "Iniciativas de Integración Latinoamericana desde América Latina". Se parte del supuesto de que para entender las coyunturas políticas latinoamericanas, y en sí, los procesos de integración regional subyacentes; es necesario aproximarse teórico metodológicamente desde el pensamiento diseñado en América Latina, de ahí que se utilizarán los axiomas del "latinoamericanismo" como paradigma filosófico, y en complemento las tesis dominantes. El estudio aborda las iniciativas de integración regional (SICA, CARICOM, MERCOSUR y Grupo de Río) y finalmente a la Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños, previo análisis de la relación política de América Latina con la potencia hegemónica hemisférica.

This article attempts to summarize the results of the investigation "Initiatives of Latin-American Integration from Latin America". It is assumed that for understanding the political stage in Latin America, and the underlying regional integration processes, there needs to be a theoretical and methodological approach from the thinking designed in Latin America, therefore, the use of the axioms of "Latinoamericanismo" as philosophical paradigm, and complemented with the mainstream theories. The study addresses the initiatives of regional integration (SICA, CARICOM, MERCOSUR and Rio Group) and finally the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, after an analysis of the political relationship between Latin America and the hemispheric hegemon.
