Cronología de la política exterior de Costa Rica

Abstract

La siguiente cronología refiere a la política exterior de Costa Rica, en la que se menciona que la Presidenta electa, Laura Chinchilla, junto con la ministra de comercio exterior designada, Anabelle González, se han dado a la tarea de iniciar los diálogos políticos que darán paso al cierre del Acuerdo de Asociación con la Unión Europea , para lo cual se han reunido con los líderes centroamericanos y con el Presidente español, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, para contar con el respaldo necesario y cerrar dicho instrumento el día 18 de mayo en la Cumbre de Jefes de Estado de América Latina y la Unión Europea.

The following chronology refers to Costa Rica's foreign policy, in which it is mentioned that the elected President, Laura Chinchilla, together with the designated Minister of Foreign Trade, Anabelle González, have taken on the task of initiating the political dialogues that will lead to the closing of the Association Agreement with the European Union, for which they have met with Central American leaders and with the Spanish President, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, in order to have the necessary support and close this instrument on May 18 at the Summit of Heads of State of Latin America and the European Union.
