Desarrollo del sistema de plataforma institucional de la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social

Abstract

Con la implantación en la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social del Sistema Centralizado de Recaudación denominado SICERE, el cual cumple con la nueva Ley de Protección al Trabajador puesta en marcha en el año 2001, nace de los usuarios encargados de administrar y registrar los dineros obtenidos por las cargas sociales a los patronos contenidas en dicha ley, la necesidad de recolectar y administrar de forma más adecuada y eficiente los dineros de dichas cargas, además permitir a la institución estar en la vanguardia de las últimas tendencias tecnológicas del mercado, ya que los sistemas actuales no contemplaban lo que la nueva ley le exigía a la institución, y los sistemas estaban desarrollados con plataformas de información obsoletos y propietarios que no permitían la comunicación con otros sistemas de información. El Sistema de Plataforma Institucional en Línea fue desarrollado para solventar esta necesidad, ya que permite una comunicación fluida y eficiente con la base de datos del Sistema Centralizado de Recaudación SICERE y obtener la información necesaria para poder proporcionarle a los usuarios una manera rápida, segura y eficiente de realizar la recolección de los dineros obtenidos de las cargas sociales, todo esto en un solo sistema de información, además de proporcionarle a la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social nuevos beneficios en el servicio que se brinda a los patronos, que anteriormente no se podía brindar, por la forma en que trabajaban los anteriores sistemas de recaudación.

With the implementation in the Costa Rican Social Security Fund of the Centralized Collection System called SICERE, which complies with the new Worker Protection Law launched in 2001, it is born from the users in charge of managing and registering the money obtained by the social charges to employers contained in said law, the need to collect and manage in a more adequate and efficient way the monies of said charges, in addition to allowing the institution to be at the forefront of the latest technological trends in the market, since the systems The current ones did not contemplate what the new law required of the institution, and the systems were developed with obsolete and proprietary information platforms that did not allow communication with other information systems. The Institutional Online Platform System was developed to solve this need, since it allows fluid and efficient communication with the database of the SICERE Centralized Collection System and obtain the necessary information to be able to provide users with a fast, secure and efficient way of collecting the money obtained from social charges, all this in a single information system, in addition to providing the Costa Rican Social Security Fund with new benefits in the service provided to employers, which previously could not be provide, due to the way in which the previous collection systems worked.
