Validación por constructo y confiabilidad de los instrumentos "cuestionario sobre las preocupaciones docentes" y "nivel de utilización de la innovación".

Abstract

El propósito de esta investigación fue el de traducir, adaptar y validar para Costa Rica el instrumento "The Stages of Concers Questionnaire" (Hall, G.E.; A.A. George; W.L. Rutherford, 1975), bajo el título en español: Cuestionario sobre las Preocupaciones Docentes, para medir el grado de interés que poseen los educadores involucrados en una innovación educativa. Dicho cuestionario ubica a estos docentes en siete categorías o niveles de interés claramente identificables. Estos niveles van desde la etapa de "Conciencia", donde se agrupa a los individuos que poseen poca preocupación o compromiso con la innovación; hasta la etapa de "Reenfoque", donde el docente está buscando mayores beneficios para la innovación. De la misma manera se tradujo, adaptó y validó el instrumento "Level of Use" (Loucks, S.F.; B.W. Newlove; G.E. Hall, 1975), cuya versión en español se denomina: Nivel de Utilización de la Innovación, entrevista informal dirigida a tres tipos de individuos: No usuarios, Usuarios y Usuarios pasados de una innovación educativa; cuyas respuestas sirve de como marco de referencia para ubicara al entrevistado en ocho etapas o niveles de uso diferentes, que van desde la etapa de "Desutilización", donde se encuentran los docentes que poseen poco o ningún conocimiento de la innovación; hasta la etapa de "Reenfoque", donde el docente reevalúa la calidad del uso de la innovación, modificándola para lograr mayores beneficios.

The purpose of this research was to translate, adapt and validate for Costa Rica the instrument "The Stages of Concers Questionnaire" (Hall, GE; AA George; WL Rutherford, 1975), under the title in Spanish: Questionnaire on Teacher Preoccupations , to measure the degree of interest that educators involved in an educational innovation possess. Said questionnaire places these teachers in seven clearly identifiable categories or levels of interest. These levels range from the "Awareness" stage, where individuals who have little concern or commitment to innovation are grouped; until the stage of "Refocusing", where the teacher is looking for greater benefits for innovation. In the same way, the instrument "Level of Use" was translated, adapted and validated (Loucks, SF; BW Newlove; GE Hall, 1975), whose version in Spanish is called: Level of Use of Innovation, an informal interview directed at three types of individuals: Non-users, Users and Past Users of an educational innovation; whose answers serve as a frame of reference to locate the interviewee in eight different stages or levels of use, ranging from the stage of "Disuse", where there are teachers who have little or no knowledge of innovation; up to the "Refocusing" stage, where the teacher reassesses the quality of the use of innovation, modifying it to achieve greater benefits.
