Resumen
La pasantía fue realizada en el Laboratorio de Análisis Clínicos de la Escuela de
Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad Nacional, entre el 8 de mayo al 6 de setiembre del
2013.
Durante este periodo, se participó en la recepción, montaje y análisis de 592 muestras
que ingresaron al laboratorio, tanto servicio externo como el servicio interno. Se tomaron en
cuenta, para efectos del informe, solo las muestras remitidas para el análisis de hematológico,
química clínica y análisis de orina provenientes de las especies canina y felina. Además, se
contribuyó en la estandarización del protocolo para Babesia spp.
En el presente trabajo se describe la casuística en las diferentes áreas que comprende el
laboratorio. Adicionalmente se analizó, desarrolló y documentó un caso clínico con
características poco comunes.

Additionally, a clinical case with unusual features was analyzed, developed and documented
