The human species and other species require the planet’s ecosystems for their existence. It is a fact that the healthy survival of all species requires
food, water, air, climate stability, genetic diversity and other elements of nature. In other words, the health of the planet’s ecosystems is fundamental
to the health of humans and non-humans. We live in an interdependent system, connected to each other, and where human actions and pressure on the environment negatively impact the health of ecosystems.
