Abstract

Esta sistematización sobre el quehacer del Instituto de Estudios de la Mujer (IEM) de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica a los 30 años de su creación (1991-2021), surge del interés de realizar un recuento histórico, crítico y propositivo después de analizar junto a algunas de sus protagonistas, los avances y aprendizajes alcanzados a través de sus esfuerzos por institucio- nalizar en la Universidad Nacional los estudios de la mujer y el enfoque de igualdad de género.This systematization of the work of the Institute of Women's Studies (IEM) of the National University of Costa Rica after 30 years of its of the National University of Costa Rica 30 years after its creation (1991-2021), arises from the interest of making a historical, critical and to make a historical, critical and proactive account after analyzing, together with some of its protagonists, the progress and the progress and lessons learned through its efforts to institutionalize women's studies and the gender equality approach at the National University.
