Validation of a method for the analysis of total mercury in fish muscle by cold vapor atomic absorption spectroscopy (CVAAS) with a direct mercury analyzer (DMA)

Abstract

El Comité Organizador, compuesto por varias universidades y entidades de Costa Rica, dio la bienvenida al Congreso de Química Costa Rica 2024 y al 3er Simposio Costarricense de Biofísica, realizado del 22 al 26 de julio en la Universidad Nacional en Heredia. Más de 200 participantes de 14 países se reunieron para compartir conocimientos sobre química y sus aplicaciones actuales y futuras bajo el lema: "La química: una solución a los cambios globales". El evento incluyó conferencias de reconocidos científicos internacionales, 45 presentaciones orales, 45 pósters y cinco charlas técnicas, con el respaldo de la IUPAC. El comité agradeció a autores, patrocinadores y asistentes por hacer posible este exitoso congreso, esperando que impulse el desarrollo de las ciencias químicas a nivel nacional e internacional.The Organizing Committee, composed of several Costa Rican universities and organizations, welcomed the 2024 Costa Rica Chemistry Congress and the 3rd Costa Rican Biophysics Symposium, held from July 22 to 26 at the National University of Heredia. More than 200 participants from 14 countries gathered to share knowledge about chemistry and its current and future applications under the theme: "Chemistry: A Solution to Global Change." The event included lectures by renowned international scientists, 45 oral presentations, 45 posters, and five technical talks, supported by IUPAC. The committee thanked the authors, sponsors, and attendees for making this successful congress possible, hoping it will boost the development of chemical sciences nationally and internationally.
