Los derechos reproductivos y sexuales: concepciones de algunas mujeres costarricenses

Abstract

Analiza los derechos reproductivos y sexuales de algunas mujeres costarricenses desde el contexto en que viven, en la identificación de sus derechos y si los exigen, para la realización de futuras acciones y políticas anuentes a este campo. Este trabajo se estudia en cinco temas principales, los cuales se describe: la definición sociocultural de la vida reproductiva y sexual de la mujer, el desarrollo de los conceptos y su puesta en práctica de los derechos reproductivos y sexuales en algunos Estados y en Costa Rica, el concepto de derechos reproductivos y los derechos sexuales de las mujeres, identificar el contexto costarricense en donde se forman y exigen los derechos sexuales y reproductivos; por último, determinar la importancia de los estudios nacionales y regionales para divulgarlos a nivel internacional. En la metodología de investigación es de carácter cualitativo y exploratorio. Se realizó un análisis documental y se ejecutó una entrevista a profundidad con un grupo de diez mujeres, con el fin de comprender las perspectivas sobre sus derechos sexuales y reproductivos. Algunas de las conclusiones, los conceptos de sexualidad y reproducción son diferentes de acuerdo al análisis documental, pero estas evidencian realidades. Las políticas de salud reproductiva y sexual para las mujeres solo son consideradas desde la perspectiva reproductiva y desde sus experiencias cotidianas las mujeres aprenden sobre sus derechos sexuales y reproductivos.

It analyzes the reproductive and sexual rights of some Costa Rican women from the context in which they live, in the identification of their rights and if they are required, for the realization of future actions and agreeable policies in this field. This work is studied in five main themes, which are described: the sociocultural definition of the reproductive and sexual life of women, the development of the concepts and their implementation of reproductive and sexual rights in some States and in Costa Rica , the concept of reproductive rights and the sexual rights of women, identify the Costa Rican context in which sexual and reproductive rights are formed and demanded; finally, determine the importance of national and regional studies to disseminate them internationally. In the research methodology it is qualitative and exploratory in nature. A documentary analysis was carried out and an in-depth interview was carried out with a group of ten women, in order to understand the perspectives on their sexual and reproductive rights. Some of the conclusions, the concepts of sexuality and reproduction are different according to the documentary analysis, but these show realities. Reproductive and sexual health policies for women are only considered from the reproductive perspective and from their daily experiences women learn about their sexual and reproductive rights.
