Resumen
Este artículo documenta los resultados obtenidos con la aplicación de Desing Thinking como metodología de aprendizaje en cursos de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, Sede Interuniversitaria de Alajuela. El objetivo de este trabajo se dirige a proyectar la flexibilidad que brinda este método para la docencia universitaria. La metodología
utilizada para la recolección de datos utilizó la sistematización de la experiencia de las personas docentes a cargo de los cursos y la aplicación de un instrumento diseñado para recabar la información del estudiantado, el cual permitió recabar la opinión de las personas participantes. Como resultado de la ejecución de actividades aplicando Desing
Thinking a diferentes cursos universitarios, se logra una participación activa e integración de aproximadamente 120 personas pertenecientes a diferentes cursos, quienes compartieron un espacio de aprendizaje innovador, donde se utilizan este tipo de estrategias centradas en las personas. El trabajo se proyecta como una alternativa de fácil adaptación para otras personas docentes y que puede replicarse en otros espacios académicos. Además, este documento sirve de referencia para la incorporación del Desing Thinking en entornos de aprendizaje tanto multidisciplinario como interdisciplinario.
This article documents the results obtained with the application of Design Thinking as a methodology of learning in courses at the National University of Costa Rica, Alajuela Interuniversity Headquarters. The objective ofThis work is aimed at projecting the flexibility that this method offers for university teaching. The methodology used for data collection used the systematization of the experience of the teachers in charge ofthe courses and the application of an instrument designed to collect information from the student body, which allowed collect the opinion of the participants. As a result of the execution of activities applying DesingThinking to different university courses, an active participation and integration of approximately 120 people belonging to different courses, who shared an innovative learning space, where they use this type of people-centered strategies. The work is projected as an easy alternative adaptation for other teachers and that can be replicated in other academic spaces. Furthermore, this document serves as a reference for the incorporation of Design Thinking in learning environments, both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary.
