Resumen
La transición energética se ha consolidado como una de las principales prioridades a nivel global frente a la amenaza del cambio climático. Costa Rica, si bien es referente en generación eléctrica renovable, presenta rezagos importantes en los sectores transporte e industrial, que siguen dependiendo de hidrocarburos como el diésel y el búnker.
The energy transition has become a top global priority in the face of climate change. While Costa Rica is a leader in renewable electricity generation, it lags significantly behind in the transportation and industrial sectors, which continue to rely on hydrocarbons such as diesel and bunker fuel.
