Se relata la historia de Santa Lucía de Barva y la casa que hoy es sede del Museo de Cultura Popular, destacando su origen colonial, la influencia de la caficultura en el siglo XIX, la vida religiosa y comunal, y la arquitectura en bahareque. El museo busca preservar y recrear las tradiciones, costumbres y cultura material costarricense como patrimonio nacional.
The exhibition tells the story of Santa Lucía de Barva and the house that now houses the Museum of Popular Culture, highlighting its colonial origins, the influence of coffee cultivation in the 19th century, religious and community life, and bahareque architecture. The museum seeks to preserve and recreate Costa Rican traditions, customs, and material culture as part of the nation’s heritage.
