Diálogo o negociación, algunas observaciones necesarias

Abstract

La Presidencia de la República en conjunto con la Presidencia de la Asamblea Legislativa han convocado a un diálogo multisectorial para enfrentar los desafíos de la crisis fiscal, la reactivación económica y la situación crítica del empleo y la desigualdad social que vivimos. He de decir que me parece una excelente iniciativa y que el país requiere en este momento diálogo y sobre todo, una negociación de la agenda para los próximos meses y años. Intentar aplicar a la fuerza medidas como las recientemente establecidas en el plan retirado por el gobierno es un claro suicidio político, empero, no hacer nada tampoco es una solución. El reto de dialogar es grande y requiere de todos los participantes mucho respeto, cordura y capacidad de escucha.

The Presidency of the Republic together with the Presidency of the Legislative Assembly have called for a multisectoral dialogue to face the challenges of the fiscal crisis, economic reactivation and the critical situation of employment and social inequality that we are experiencing. I have to say that it seems to me an excellent initiative and that the country at this time requires dialogue and above all, a negotiation of the agenda for the coming months and years. Trying to forcefully apply measures such as those recently established in the plan withdrawn by the government is a clear political suicide, however, doing nothing is not a solution either. The challenge of dialogue is great and requires from all participants a lot of respect, sanity and the ability to listen.
