Educación para la ciudadanía en Derechos Humanos: experiencia de estudiantes universitarios en Taller sobre Derechos Humanos y cultura de paz en el Colegio Técnico de Puriscal, San José, Costa Rica

Resumen
El siguiente trabajo tiene como finalidad, mostrar la experiencia de docencia universitaria a través del curso Tópicos de una cultura de paz, donde se dio el acompañamiento a los estudiantes, para que ellos a la vez replicaran el contenido del curso, con estudiantes de secundarias, mediante diferentes actividades participativa, donde impartieron una charla-taller sobre Derechos Humanos y Cultura de paz, con el fin de educar a la ciudadanía en Derechos Humanos que le permitan conocer sus derechos como personas y con ello, motivarlos a promover una cultura de paz entre los jóvenes, sus familias y comunidad.
La educación de la ciudadanía entendida como las personas que viven en un territorio determinado, las cuales también tienen derechos y deberes de carácter político, deberían de vivir en igualdad y equidad de condiciones sociales y económicas para que tengan una vida digna. Según el artículo 1 de la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos. …” Todos los seres humanos nacen libres e iguales en dignidad y derechos y, dotados como están de razón y conciencia, deben comportarse fraternalmente los unos con los otros”.
The purpose of the following work is to show the experience of university teaching through the course Topics of a culture of peace, where support was given to the students, so that they at the same time replicated the content of the course, with high school students, through different participatory activities, where they gave a talk-workshop on Human Rights and a Culture of Peace, in order to educate citizens on Human Rights that allow them to know their rights as people and thereby motivate them to promote a culture of peace among young people, their families and community. The education of citizenship understood as the people who live in a given territory, who also have rights and duties of a political nature, should live in equality and equity of social and economic conditions so that they have a dignified life. According to article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. … “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights and, endowed as they are with reason and conscience, they must behave fraternally towards one another.”
