In monetary policy there are two different ways of looking at reality, the first is the monetarist version, which assumes that any increase in the amount of money that exceeds the growth rate of the economy should be sterilized, or else it would produce inflation and the version Keynesian, which establishes that, in times of high unemployment, it is possible to increase production from the expansion of the money supply.
