Percepción de la población costarricense y extranjera con más de tres años de vivir en el país sobre temas ambientales en Costa Rica, 2022

Abstract

La Encuesta “Percepción de la población costarricense y extranjera sobre temas ambientales en Costa Rica, 2022”, estuvo a cargo del equipo investigador del Programa Horizontes Ambientales del Instituto de Estudios Sociales en Población (IDESPO) de la Universidad Nacional (UNA) y se levantó en el Centro Tecnológico de Investigación Social (CETIS) del IDESPO, vía telefónica del 13 al 17 y el 20, 22 y 23 junio de 2022, bajo la supervisión de su personal. El objetivo de esta encuesta fue recolectar información sobre la percepción de la población costarricense sobre temas ambientales lo que permite generar información que identifica la situación ambiental en el país para incidir en los tomadores de decisión. El cuestionario empleado para este estudio estuvo conformado por 22 preguntas, asociadas a las variables temáticas antes mencionadas; al mismo tiempo, se incluyen algunas variables de tipo sociodemográficas como sexo, edad, nivel de escolaridad, estado conyugal y la percepción de la condición económica del hogar, que permiten describir las características de la población encuestada.
