Informe de la encuesta "Participación ciudadana en la gestión integral del riesgo de desastres en Costa Rica, 2025"

Abstract

En el marco del proyecto de investigación se aplica y dirige la encuesta “Participación Ciudadana en la Gestión Integral del Riesgo de Desastres en Costa Rica”. La información se recopiló en el Centro Tecnológico de Investigación Social (CETIS) del IDESPO, vía telefónica del 17 al 20 septiembre y del 22 al 25 de septiembre 2025 bajo la supervisión de su personal y la colaboración de su población estudiantil. El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar el conocimiento sobre la gestión integral del riesgo y la capacidad de organización comunitaria que tiene la población costarricense ante eventos naturales para identificar oportunidades de mejora enfocadas a la cultura del riesgo con las instituciones competentes.

Within the framework of the research project, the survey “Citizen Participation in Comprehensive Disaster Risk Management in Costa Rica” was conducted and administered. The information was collected at the Social Research Technology Center (CETIS) of IDESPO, by telephone, from September 17 to 20 and from September 22 to 25, 2025, under the supervision of its staff and with the collaboration of its student population. The objective of the study was to analyze the knowledge regarding comprehensive risk management and the community organization capacity of the Costa Rican population when facing natural events, in order to identify opportunities for improvement focused on strengthening a risk culture in coordination with the relevant institutions.
