Resumen
La Universidad Nacional (UNA), Sede Región Brunca, por medio de su Programa Promoviendo el Capital Social Comunitario, ha venido desarrollando acciones desde el 2018 en los territorios indígenas de Salitre, Ujarrás y Cabagra (Buenos Aires, Puntarenas). Estas acciones pretenden fortalecer las capacidades propias de sus habitantes. En el presente documento, se sistematiza la experiencia desarrollada durante el 2019 en la comunidad de San Rafael de Cabagra, por medio del taller de Revitalización Cultural Bribri; el cuál responde a una necesidad, planteada por los miembros de la comunidad, satisfecha con instructores locales y recursos de la UNA. Se presentan datos sobre la metodología seguida para realizar la sistematización, se hace un recorrido histórico a lo largo del proceso, se analiza la pertinencia del taller para la comunidad y se ofrecen algunas conclusiones y recomendaciones para futuras acciones de la UNA en territorios indígenas.
The Universidad Nacional of Costa Rica (UNA), in the Brunca Region Campus, through its Programa Promoviendo el Capital Social Comunitario (Promoting Community Social Capital Program), has been developing actions since 2018 in the indigenous territories of Salitre, Ujarrás, and Cabagra (Buenos Aires, Puntarenas, Costa Rica). These actions seek to strengthen the capacities of the inhabitants of these territories. This paper systematizes the experience developed during 2019 in the community of San Rafael de Cabagra through the workshop for Bribri cultural revitalization, which responds to a need raised by the members of the community and met with local instructors and resources of the UNA. Information about the methodology followed for the systematization is shared; a historical overview of the process is provided; the workshop relevance to the community is analyzed, some conclusions are drawn, and recommendations are made for future UNA actions in indigenous territories.
