La OCDE y la nueva institucionalidad agropecuaria en Costa Rica

Abstract

Para las entidades agropecuarias del país es claro que una reforma de las políticas dirigidas al sector fomentaría la competitividad. Sin embargo, lo que aún no se termina de definir es cómo mejorar su diseño de manera tal que los nuevos lineamientos respondan no solo a las inestables condiciones del mercado de estos productos sino también a los desafíos de sostenibilidad de los sistemas socio-ecológicos y productivos en un contexto enmarcado por la incertidumbre asociada al cambio climático, la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional y, de forma primordial, la meta del crecimiento económico con menor desigualdad.It is clear for the country's agricultural entities that a reform of the policies aimed at the sector it would promote competitiveness.
