In the current debate on rurality, it is emphasized that it is not limited exclusively to agriculture; tourism and services also come into play. Despite some achievements in agricultural activities, such as coffee production in Los Santos, success does not translate into outstanding social development in these areas. It underscores the need to implement policies that strengthen local production and labor skills to boost regional development.
