Resumen
Durante el año 1974, en el inicio mismo del trabajo de esta Universidad, un grupo de profesores considero importante poner en común una serie de problemas, que a pesar de los diferentes campos disciplinarios en que se movían, mostraban características similares y afectaban la labor de sus Unidades Academices, en la solución de los problemas nacionales que enfrentaba esta Universidad.
En un principio este grupo no pasaba de ser un grupo de encuentros amistoso de discusión de diferentes problemas. Sin embargo, con la experiencia inicial lograda se detectaron las posibilidades académicas de un grupo de esta índole, así como también las dificultades que habían aparecido.
A finales 1974 se sometió a consideración de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales una propuesta que lograba centrar campos de interésinter-diciplinarios enfrentados con un instrumental común.
En diciembre de 1974 el consejo director de la Facultad aprobó la existencia y los lineamientos básicos de trabajo de la comunidad de investigación en Educación, Semiología y Ciencias Sociales.
Nació así, como plan experimental institucional la comunidad de investigación en Ciencias Sociales, Semiología y Educación constituida por un equipo permanente de doctores y por un equipo permanente también de investigadores en campos específicos que actúan bajo la dirección de los primeros. Esta comunidad empezó a funcionar en diciembre de 1974, desde entonces, lo ha venido haciendo ininterrumpidamente hasta el presente.
During the year 1974, at the very beginning of the work of this University, a group of professors considered it important to share a series of problems that, despite the different disciplinary fields in which they worked, showed similar characteristics and affected the work of its Academic Units, in solving the national problems that this University faced. At first this group was nothing more than a group of friendly meetings to discuss different problems. However, with the initial experience gained, the academic possibilities of a group of this type were detected, as well as the difficulties that had appeared. At the end of 1974, a proposal was submitted to the Faculty of Social Sciences for consideration that managed to focus interdisciplinary fields of interest faced with a common instrument. In December 1974, the Faculty's governing council approved the existence and basic work guidelines of the research community in Education, Semiology and Social Sciences. Thus, as an institutional experimental plan, the research community in Social Sciences, Semiology and Education was born, made up of a permanent team of doctors and a permanent team of researchers in specific fields who act under the direction of the former. This community began operating in December 1974, since then it has been doing so uninterruptedly until the present.
