Bibliographic critique of the works of Carlos Luis Fallas, El movimiento obrero en Costa Rica (The workers' movement in Costa Rica) and Vladimir de la Cruz, Las luchas sociales en Costa Rica (Social struggles in Costa Rica). It includes a comparative analysis of what both works represent within the framework of the evolution experienced by the national historiography since the seventies, since it is perceptible a change in the way of writing and conceiving history, to which contributes the arrival of historians who assume the role of transmitting agents of new historiographic currents. Both works have the merit of contributing to widen the editorial gap that allows the dissemination of research by historians who intend to provide a different vision of the traditional way in which the history of Costa Rica has been written.
