Analisis de la coyuntura fiscal a abril del año 2024

Abstract

El Observatorio Económico y Social (OES) de la Escuela de Economía de la UNA, presenta este breve análisis de la situación fiscal del país, al finalizar el primer cuatrimestre del año 2024, a fin de contribuir a la discusión de la coyuntura fiscal y del estado de la economía de Costa Rica. Este documento hará un análisis enfocado en tres áreas: ingresos públicos, gasto público y el resultado fiscal. También se aportará un análisis actualizado de las estimaciones sobre la evolución futura del endeudamiento público, considerando los últimos datos disponibles.

The Economic and Social Observatory (OES) of the School of Economics of the UNA, presents this brief analysis of the country's fiscal situation, at the end of the first quarter of 2024, in order to contribute to the discussion of the fiscal situation and the state of Costa Rica's economy. This document will make an analysis focused on three areas: public revenues, public expenditure and the fiscal result. An updated analysis of the estimates on the future evolution of public debt will also be provided, taking into account the latest available data.
