Resumen
Resumen. En la agenda 2030 de Costa Rica, la economía circular es un eje importante dentro de la misma. Ante esta situación el aprendizaje basado en proyectos (ABP), debe enfocarse en la búsqueda de soluciones. Objetivo. Identificar problemas ambientales que afectan a las comunidades de Alajuela y Heredia, favoreciendo la búsqueda de soluciones en beneficio de la colectividad. Metodología. Los estudiantes de las carreras de Administración y Química Industrial conformaron equipos de investigación (7- 8 estudiantes). El proyecto se estructuro en 4 etapas: Planificación, Recolección de información, Diseño e Informe Final. Resultados. Se realizó el análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de la información recolectada. Se produjeron videos y afiches que fueron compartidos en las páginas oficiales y redes sociales de la comunidad. Se concluye que, el ABP permitió que los estudiantes tomaran el rol de liderazgo, y pensamiento crítico, favoreciendo la toma de decisiones, que repercutirán en la sociedad.
Abstract. In the 2030 agenda of Costa Rica, the circular economy is an important axis within it. Faced with this situation, project-based learning (PBL) must focus on finding solutions. Objective. Identify environmental problems that affect the communities of Alajuela and Heredia, favoring the search for solutions for the benefit of the community. Methodology. The students of the Administration and Industrial Chemistry careers formed research teams (7-8 students). The project was structured in 4 stages: Planning, Information Collection, Design and Final Report. Results. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the information collected was performed. Videos and posters were produced and shared on the community's official pages and social media. It is concluded that, the PBL allowed students to take the role of leadership, and critical thinking, favoring decision-making, which will have an impact on society.
