Resumen
La economía creativa es un término que se ha extendido por todo el mundo y que toma más fuerza conforme las industrias creativas se vuelven cada vez más importantes para la economía global. El concepto en sí no es tan nuevo; surgió en el 2001 cuando, en su libro The Creative Economy, John Howkins planteó que “una economía creativa es un sistema para la producción, el intercambio y el uso de productos creativos”.
