Reporte de sismos sentidos en Costa Rica entre 2010 y 2023

Abstract

Entre 2010 y 2023, la población costarricense ha reportado un total de 2114 sismos sentidos, lo cual representa un 1,5% del catálogo sísmico total del OVSICORI en 14 años de registro digital. Por ello, se presenta un reporte de los sismos en el periodo mencionado, con datos obtenidos producto de los servicios de Internet, redes sociales y el incremento en la cantidad de seguidores en las páginas de Facebook y X (Twitter) operadas por el OVSICORI.Between 2010 and 2023, the Costa Rican population has reported a total of 2114 felt earthquakes, which represents 1.5% of the total seismic catalog of OVSICORI in 14 years of digital record. Therefore, a report of the earthquakes in the mentioned period is presented, with data obtained from Internet services, social networks and the increase in the number of followers in the Facebook and X (Twitter) pages operated by OVSICORI.
