Resumen
El 7 de octubre de 2017 se cumplieron 10 años del primer referéndum realizado en el país: el correspondiente a la decisión de aprobar o rechazar el Tratado de Libre Comercio entre Centroamérica, República Dominicana y Estados Unidos, conocido popularmente como TLC. El Programa Umbral Político del Instituto de Estudios Sociales en Población (Idespo), en conjunto con las y los estudiantes que participaron de este proceso, ejecutaron la encuesta "A 10 años del referéndum del TLC: percepciones sobre sus implicaciones sociales, económicas y políticas" para conocer la impresión de la población sobre el referéndum como primera experiencia de consulta nacional y el impacto del TLC en distintas áreas, dichos hallazgos se presentan en este artículo.
October 7, 2017 marked the 10th anniversary of the first referendum held in the country: the decision to approve or reject the Free Trade Agreement between Central America, the Dominican Republic and the United States, popularly known as TLC. The Political Threshold Program of the Institute for Social Studies in Population (Idespo), together with the students who participated in this process, executed the survey "10 years after the FTA referendum: perceptions on its social, economic and political implications" to learn about the population's impression of the referendum as the first national consultation experience and the impact of the TLC in different areas, those findings are presented in this article.
