Resumen
Protocolo del Programa Gusano Barrenador, describe las actividades específicas relacionadas con el gusano barrenador. Los registros, instructivos y documentos externos son documentos de apoyo a los procedimientos del Programa Gusano Barrenador – Vigilancia Epidemiológica. Este es uno de los Programas Nacionales del SENASA, que está fortalecido mediante un acuerdo cooperativo entre los gobiernos de Costa Rica y Estados Unidos. El Programa está bajo el mando de un Director Nacional (SENASA) y un Director del USDA. El acuerdo establece una jefatura centralizada, de tal forma que el personal del Programa mantenga su trabajo enfocado en la vigilancia del Gusano Barrenador del Ganado. El aporte bilateral permite que todo el personal esté siendo constantemente capacitado, equipado y supervisado, para que se puedan alcanzar las metas en forma profesional y eficiente.
The Screwworm Program Protocol describes the specific activities related to the screwworm. The records, instructions and external documents are documents that support the procedures of the Screwworm Borer - Epidemiological Surveillance Program. This is one of SENASA's National Programs, which is strengthened through a cooperative agreement between the governments of Costa Rica and the United States. The Program is under the command of a National Director (SENASA) and a USDA Director. The agreement establishes a centralized leadership so that Program personnel maintain their work focused on the surveillance of screwworm. The bilateral contribution allows all personnel to be constantly trained, equipped and supervised so that goals can be achieved in a professional and efficient manner.
