The National University was born as an educational institution with a humanistic vision and thought of as a necessary university. Its organic Statute states that: Its historical mission is to create and transmit knowledge in favor of human welfare, through actions that promote the transformation of society to lead it to higher stages of coexistence. It honors freedom, diversity, the search for truth and natural and cultural sustainability, for the benefit of knowledge, equity, justice and dignity of the human condition. (Estatuto Orgánico, 2015) In its 50 years of foundation, the university has been working to generate opportunities for different social groups, especially for those less favored sectors. Part of its work has been oriented to generate processes of inclusion of these sectors, however, it is the population of students with disabilities who summons us at this time. Within these actions aimed at inclusion, there are some projects that, due to their impact on the visually impaired student population, could be seen as inspiring practices. The methodological process consisted in the systematization of experiences, as it allows the exchange or sharing of lessons learned with similar experiences. We worked with the academic and student population of different academic units or careers that carried out reasonable accommodation processes, following the timely identification of specific needs to promote accessibility in particular cases, without implying a disproportionate or undue burden on teaching, but rather the interest in the full inclusion of the student body.
