Abstract

En este articulo se Reflexiona sobre el uso del agua en servicios y actividades propias del turismo de sol y playa en regiones secas como Guanacaste, en el pacífico norte de Csota Rica Para entender la relacion que se establece entre la actividad turistica y el consumo de agua, se utiliza el concepto de huella hidrica. Se discuten las implicaciones de este modelo de consumo especialmente en ambientes secos, donde se depende de la extraccion subterranea del recurso hidrico. La informacion proviene de fuentes secundarias.
