Informe de resultados del inventario de emisiones, GEI y la carbono neutralidad, 2022

Abstract

Las fuentes de emisión que presentaron una mayor cantidad de CO2 equivalente emitido para el inventario 2022 fueron; en primer lugar, las fuentes móviles (609,26 t CO2e) los residuos ordinarios (527,80 t CO2e), en segundo lugar, en tercer lugar el consumo eléctrico (413,19 t CO2e) y en cuarto, refrigeración y climatización (366,00 t CO2e). Esto muestra las principales fuentes de generación de CO2 presentes en la Universidad Nacional para el año 2022, las cuales, se cuantificaron de manera sistemática para lograr obtener resultados acertados, en cuanto a la metodología aplicada. Los resultados y conclusiones para demostrar la Carbono Neutralidad (según la fórmula establecida en las definiciones) son completos y precisos sin desviaciones intencionadas. Los resultados, datos, métodos, suposiciones y limitaciones son transparentes y presentados detalladamente para permitir al lector comprender la exactitud, complejidad y la transparencia de las compensaciones inherentes para demostrar la Carbono Neutralidad. El informe muestra los resultados y sus interpretaciones para que puedan ser utilizados de manera coherente con el objetivo del estudio. Los resultados para demostrar la carbono neutralidad indican en unidades CO2e: total emisiones GEI: 2435,85; total de remociones forestales: 1411,7; total de reducciones: 50,49; total de compensaciones: 1024,15.

The emission sources that presented a higher amount of CO2 equivalent emitted for the 2022 inventory were; firstly, mobile sources (609.26 t CO2e), ordinary waste (527.80 t CO2e), secondly, in third place electricity consumption (413.19 t CO2e) and fourthly, refrigeration and air conditioning (366.00 t CO2e). This shows the main sources of CO2 generation present at the National University for the year 2022, which were systematically quantified to obtain accurate results, in terms of the methodology applied. The results and conclusions to demonstrate Carbon Neutrality (according to the formula established in the definitions) are complete and accurate without intentional deviations. The results, data, methods, assumptions, and limitations are transparent and presented in detail to allow the reader to understand the accuracy, complexity, and transparency of the trade-offs inherent in demonstrating Carbon Neutrality. The report shows the results and their interpretations so that they can be used in a way that is consistent with the objective of the study. The results to demonstrate carbon neutrality indicate in CO2e units: total GHG emissions: 2435.85; total forest removals: 1411.7; total reductions: 50.49; Total compensation: 1024.15.
