Las universidades públicas y los desafíos de la educación nacional

Abstract

Pareciera que, hoy por hoy, no es posible hablar de la Universidad y de la educación nacional sin referirse al así llamado "Nuevo Orden Mundial", con los desafíos que este "orden" presenta en el momento actual. Pareciera también insoslayable que, frente a estos desafíos, se tenga que repensar la práctica de la educación que las universidades públicas realizan y que promueven en el país. Al mismo tiempo, pareciera también insoslayable la superación de los problemas detectados y que pueden detectarse, en la práctica de la educación actual.

It seems that, today, it is not possible to speak of the University and of national education without referring to the so-called "New World Order", with the challenges that this "order" presents at the present time. It also seems unavoidable that, in the face of these challenges, the practice of education that public universities carry out and promote in the country has to be rethought. At the same time, it also seems unavoidable to overcome the problems detected and that can be detected, in the practice of current education.
