What seems obvious is sometimes not so obvious. Often the tools are confused as if they were an end in themselves, and the objectives are left aside. With this crisis due to the COVID-19 disease, this type of confusion has once again come to light. At a global level, we realize what we have already been knowing: the system is not meeting the needs of the majority and is leading to situations of environmental and social unsustainability in many countries, and Costa Rica is no exception.
